To the Butner School Community
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as the new Elementary Dean of Students. Thank you for the warm welcome and support as I join the Eagle family. I’m excited for the school year ahead and look forward to getting to know our students, staff, and families.
Being in education for over 15 years, I have had the opportunity to serve in several different roles including elementary and middle school teacher, Head Girls Basketball Coach, Athletic Director, and Dean of Students. I’ve always enjoyed building relationships with students and helping create a positive school environment where kids feel supported, encouraged, and motivated to do their best. I believe teamwork, communication, and school pride play a big part in helping students succeed.
